Bluewater Partnership Programme

We are delighted to announce the launch of our Bluewater Partnership Programme, bringing World Cruising Club together with leading yacht builders to create even more opportunities for education, preparation and support for bluewater sailors.  We are excited to already welcome Contest Yachts and Balance Catamarans to the programme.

The initiative brings together our experience of organising ocean rallies with the expertise of prestigious yacht manufacturers, helping sailors prepare their boats and crews for life offshore.

Meet us at Cannes Yachting Festival

We are particularly excited to be collaborating with both Contest Yachts and Balance Catamarans at the Cannes Yachting Festival this September.  If you are heading to Cannes, come and see us and have a chat about any of our rallies, bluewater cruising and what it takes to prepare for an ocean adventure.

You’ll find us at:

  • CONTEST YACHTS STAND: Thursday 10 September and Saturday 12 September
  • BALANCE CATAMARANS STAND: Friday 11 September

Come and meet the WCC team, explore the latest yachts from these two renowned builders and chat with the Contest and Balance teams about their approach to bluewater sailing.

ARC & ARC+ 2026 – The Countdown is on

While we are busy looking ahead to 2027 and beyond, our thoughts are also firmly on Las Palmas.  The ARC and ARC+ fleets will soon be gathering in Gran Canaria and excitement is already building for this year’s Atlantic crossing.  For many crews, the preparation has been months, or even years, in the making.

Getting ready with our Autumn Webinars

We’ve been hosting a series of webinars exclusively for this year’s ARC and ARC+ participants, giving them the chance to hear directly from sailors who have already made the crossing.

The sessions cover a range of practical topics, with plenty of opportunity for participants to ask questions and get honest advice from people who have done it themselves.

It’s all part of our commitment to helping our crews feel prepared, supported and ready for the adventure ahead.
