SSCA Webinars to Help Prepare for the Cruising Season Ahead

Seven Seas Cruising Association (SSCA) announces a new monthly SSCA Webinar series featuring their worldwide Cruising Station Hosts (CSH) as panelists. Webinars are open to both members and non-members.

Attendees will be able to register on the WWW.SSCA.ORG website to attend; from a link on the website they can sign up and obtain instructions on dates and times.

The SSCA CSH program has over 100 hosts worldwide, all active in the marine industry or cruisers. They are a welcome face for boats coming into foreign ports and assist with information and local knowledge.

These past years, hosts have performed at the highest level of assistance, in some cases rescuing cruisers, participating in boat watches, and doing fundamentals such as taking cruisers shopping or even offering a shower or place to stay. SSCA hosts are an important part of the SSCA programs, doing whatever is needed to help cruisers out.

The SSCA CSH program goal for these webinars is to help inform cruisers of what is happening in various areas such as the Caribbean, Atlantic, Pacific –any place cruisers visit.

The first presenter with be the very well known, Jesse James, Trindad and Tobabo Cruising Host, who will provide information on what the marine industry, the communities and visiting boaters are currently doing in T&T, what boaters should be aware of, and what has changed due to COVID.

This is a chance to have an in-person look at T&T, with chat and, for an opportunity for Q&A directly with Jesse during the live session.

The first webinar will be on August 27th at 18:00 EDT and new ones will follow on every month.

This first session will have limited attendance, but should you miss the live interview, it will be posted on the SSCA YouTube channel soon after the live call.
