The Caribbean Office of ITIC is located in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, USA.

The UNESCO subscription service for world wide tsunami warnings provides warnings directly to your email inbox. Those who travel by boat are usually not well connected to the local authorities or local media to receive alerts, so this service can be very useful.
