Small port on the River Severn lying at the entrance of the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal. Yachts approaching from seaward should do so via a lock 2 hours before HW but note that the final arrival should be timed as late as possible to avoid strong tides in the entrance. From the lock, a passage under two swing bridges and a turn to port brings you to the marina where pontoon berths are equipped with electricity and water supplies.
