The Club offers swing moorings but capacity is limited and it is difficult to obtain a buoy here during the high season (January through April). Reservations in advance are not possible.

Facilities include showers, laundry and WiFi and a restaurant and bar open to the public. Consequently, it can get quite busy, so best advice is to order a drink at the bar and then take a seat to order food. Closed Mondays.

There is a boatyard with haul out facilities using a railway. Daily charges for haulout are reasonable and there are plenty of workers willing to assist. Negotiate the fees you want to pay. Cleaning, polish and antifoul work all possible. The boatyard has a laundry and showers.

To get ashore, the club provides a 24-hour Spanish speaking launch service (personal tenders are not allowed in the mooring field). Call on VHF Ch. 06, only a very little English spoken. You may have to call several times. The launch driver can also take propane/butane tanks and get them filled for a fee.

You can get diesel, gasoline and water at the dock. Call ahead (it is not always available). This is a working dock with much commercial traffic, you will not be allowed to tarry and may have to wait for traffic to clear before approaching. You may also be charged an hourly rate to be at the dock.

If re-provisioning here in large quantities, a trolley service is available to help get the bags from the main road down to the dock.

Position 8°56.09N, 79°33.28W, located south of the Balboa Commercial Port and close to the Bridge of the Americas.

CAUTION: When approaching from the south, do not turn into the mooring field until you are past buoy 14.5. There is a large sandbar stretching across the south end of the mooring field.

A fee is required to drop off advisers, fenders, and lines here after a canal transit. The fee is based on the number of fenders and persons.
