Papua New Guinea: New Britain: Cruising Yacht Boarded Twice in Two Days
After sailing 26 countries in the past eight years without any incidents, Noonsite member and regular contributor Stefan Jeukendrup's boat was boarded twice within 24 hours in two different bays in the East New Britain area of Papua New Guinea. He provided this first hand report to Noonsite with a warning to avoid the area after being assaulted during one of the attacks, suffering a number of cuts to his hands and face.
