Bob Silverman has owned six different ocean-going sailboats. He has sailed from the U.S. to the Caribbean, the Azores, the UK, the Mediterranean, and Brazil, crossing the Atlantic nine times. The voyages have been demanding. Some of the boats have been kindly, others problematic with crew troubles, although, in later life, the majority of the voyages were accomplished single-handed.
