Bermuda: An expensive stopover

Hi Noonsite,

Please include/share this updated info regarding Bermuda on your website.

In contrast to former reports:

  • presently the registration fee is $35/ per person!
  • boats will have to have to moored in front of the customs building for clearing in and out.
  • note: don’t expect any help tying up there!
  • stocking up/ provisioning at St George’s is extremely expensive, note: Diesel almost $2/litre.
  • even minor repairs are hard to organize as the various services are spread out and on top: expensive.
  • lying alongside the walls is not free anymore, calculated per ft/by day, charges even higher than the already high marinas fees (but limited space there).

Reconsider a stop over there, better pass by, just keep going.
