A modern marina with good security and very helpful staff. Min depth 2m. It is best for visitors to call ahead to reserve a berth. Clearance can be arranged by the marina. All facilities, fuel, laundry, pumpout, WiFi (in the restaurant). Haul out facilities and some repairs also possible.
The marina is 5 miles from the town, but there is a bar, a small store, and a new restaurant. The flies can be a problem in still conditions.

Cucumber Beach Marina at Old Belize is a good place to start from to visit Belize. From here visit site on land before going to other islands. The marine is very safe with good security and reasonable facilities. Some very skilled craftsman to get fiberglass work done. Also very good fiberglass work at Hikem Shipyard. Cisco at Old Belize is working hard to improve clearances and paperwork to get into Belize for cruisers. Still worth the visit.
