We have spent 2 days in august this year in Marina San Elmo : wonderfull people who made everything possible to help us find a solution for our broken AIS. The owner speaks french fluently. She can lend you a car for free to go shopping or fetch someone at the airport, will help you with bring your suplies aboard., find an open laundry for you that would come and take your clothes and do the cleaning (48h delay though)
IT had been a long time since I had not seen such a service.
Winters can be rough and all crew is on deck to check your moorings and make sure your boat is safe.
I would leave my boat for short or long periods there without any further thoughts.
