Heather Francis and Steven Hertik are from Canada and Australia respectively. In 2008 they bought S/Y Kate, a C&C designed Newport 41’, in California and have been living onboard and sailing since. So far they have visited Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, the Galapagos Islands and spent 4 years in the South Pacific. They plan on doing a lap around the planet, albeit slowly and are currently in the Philippines. The website is a collection of stories, photos, recipes and articles about their adventures.
