There are three marinas in the port of Dunkerque; Port du Grand Large is to port once through the Avant Port and past the lighthouse; Bassin du Commerce which is past the yacht club pontoons and through the lock and into the basin by the belfry; and the new Bassin de la Marine which is to sta'bd of Bassin d'Arriere Port. There are also visitors' berths available at the Yacht Club du Nord.

Port du Bassin du Commerce 16, Quai de la Citadelle, 59140 Dunkerque, France Tel:+33 (0)3 28 21 13 77, Fax: +33 (0)3 28 21 13 77 30 visitors’ berths. (max. length 15m, draught 5m). This basin is right in the heart of the city. Water, electricity, toilets, showers, pump-out. Chandlery close by.

Facilities in the port include all repairs, customs and immigration clearance, fuel dock, chandleries, haul-out and shore storage facilities.
Yacht Club de la Mer du Nord Quai des Monitors, 59140 Dunkerque, France Tel:+33(0)3 28 66 79 90, Fax:+33 (0)3 28 66 36 62 ycmn@wanadoo.fr Access from sea. The club offers the best shelter from westerly to south westerly winds. It has comfortable new facilities, bar and restaurant in the clubhouse. It has a 7 ton crane and a small repair workshop. There is 25 tons crane close by, as well as two chandleries, sailmaker and a mechanic. Water and electricity, fuel dock. Close to the town centre.
