Alice Town (North Bimini) - Clearance Agents

Description:

Alice Town is the principle settlement in North Bimini and a tourist centre. Its main street is full of activities and interesting shops.

Entrance Notes and Cautions:

  • Both red and green buoys are missing at the entrance to Bimini Harbor (reported on Bahamas Chatter February 2020).
  • The shoal extending south from the entrance point of North Bimini continues to extend to the south across the entrance of the channel to the harbor and will slowly continue to move south. To avoid going aground, don't rely on GPS positions and chart plotters, visual piloting is very important here. The bottom is easily seen here with good light and weather conditions.
  • A night entry is not recommended.
