 Tarbert (Western Isles) : Profile
Situated on the east coast of the Isle of Harris where the southern part of the island is almost separated from the northern part, Tarbert is a ferry terminal for Skye and North Uist.
Anchor to the WSW of the ferry pier in about 2-3m.
There are mooring buoys at the southern tip of Harris. See
the map for the details.
An alternative refuge can be found in the northern part of the harbour at Scalpay, about 5nm SE of Tarbert.
