Docking

The capital city of Northern Ireland, Belfast used its position at the head of Belfast Lough to become an important shipbuilding centre. The ‘Titanic’ was built here. Putting ‘The Troubles’ behind it, the city has been significantly regenerated and is now a popular City Break destination for tourists.

Although principally a very busy commercial port, there is space for yachts in the river at Belfast, although the marinas at Bangor and Carrickfergus are more suitable for yacht repairs and servicing.
