- Eleuthera: Entry into Eleuthera by air or sea is prohibited at this time, except in cases of emergency. Sea vessels approved by the Bahamas Maritime Authority are exempt.
Description:
About 100 miles long and mostly no more than a ½-mile wide, Eleuthera has a long west coastline to explore with several interesting settlements to visit. Spanish Wells in the north is a vibrant fishing community and can offer haul-out facilities and most other marine services. Take advantage of a pilot to visit Harbour Island on the east side. Eleuthera is famous for pineapples in late spring and has good local produce available.
There is now an airport on North Eleuthera (Tel: +242 335 1241) with daily flights to Nassau, Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.
