  Sarasota : Profile

Location

Sarasota, situated in the Florida Keys, is a centre for the arts and theatre. It also has a great variety of restaurants as well as the ever-popular Saturday morning Farmers Market.

Docking

There are several marinas, many accessed through locks.

There are currently plans to install moorings in the city's main anchorage. For a long time there has been a problem with derelict boats in the main Sarasota Bay anchorage, located downtown directly off city-owned Marina Jack.
