  Duquesa : Profile

Docking

This is a quieter, less crowded port than some others along the Andalucian coast. There are good beaches close by and impressive mountain scenery. The port is still home to a working fishing fleet and daily catches are landed here. There are all marine facilities, including fuel, a boatyard and storage. Note that if a strong westerly to south westerly is blowing, the swell can ground you as you exit/enter over the sand bar. News (June 2008) is that the local Council intend to clean up the port area, so expect improvements.
