Naha (Okinawa Island) : Profile
In Okinawa,
there is a US Air Force marina at Kadena.
The facilities are sparse, but boats can anchor
out for nearly nothing, and stores can be had
from the base at greatly reduced prices if
accompanied by one of the private boaters. If
plans are made ahead of time, boats can also
clear from this marina.
The American Seaman's Club, near the small boat harbour is very helpful. They offer temporary membership and can help find workshops for repairs.
