Las Palmas de Gran Canaria : Repair Facilities
Repair facilities in Las Palmas are the best in the Canaries and almost any type of repair can be carried out. The biggest concentration of workshops is in Urbanizacion Sebadal, an industrial estate on the peninsula north of the commercial harbour. For any repair it is advisable to seek first the help of Don Pedro at the Texaco station who will call the relevant mechanic to the yacht. There is normally a callout fee for any specialist called to a yacht.

The boatyard must be informed if outside help is contracted, and the contractor may have to pay the yard a commission on his fees.
