Jordan - Immigration
Immigration Procedure:
A passport valid for six months beyond the date of entry is required.
A one month visa on arrival will be issued to citizens of most countries if arriving at the port or airport.
Arrivals at Aqaba port can obtaina a free visa on arrival (if eligible), but must register with the ASEZA visa office in Aqaba within 48 hours of their arrival in Jordan. Failure to so brings liability to pay for the visa plus a fine for each unregistered day.

Other Visa Information:
The validity of the visa depends on nationality and is usually between one and three months.
Visa extensions are possible, but only up to a six month period (at the local police station).
A six month, non-extendable visa for multiple entries is also available, to be paid in local currency.
