General Info
Situated at the head of the Gulf of Aqaba at the northern end of the Red Sea, Aqaba is Jordan’s only sea port and is adjacent to the border with Israel.
It is a very popular tourist resort with its beaches, scuba diving and other water-based activities.

Clearance

Yachts must call the Port Authority on VHF Channel 16 or 12 on arrival in Jordanian waters. Instructions will be given where to proceed. Officials will come out to the yacht in a patrol boat.

Docking
Tala Bay is located along the beautiful coral reef, within the Aqaba Marine Park. There are several mooring buoys along the coastline of the bay.
Docking is available at the Royal Jordanian Yacht Club’s marina or the Tala Bay marina, either of which is a secure place to leave the yacht while visiting the interior.
