Meet the team that runs Noonsite
Our team may be small, but we’re passionate about keeping Noonsite the most valuable resource for the cruising community—just as it has been for over two decades.

Sue Richards: Site Editor
Sue has been part of the yachting industry for over 30 years and has led Noonsite as its Editor since 2008. Her diverse career spans graphic design, flotilla and superyacht crew roles, yachting event management, corporate sailing events, and yacht rallies. As Editor, Sue ensures Noonsite stays current by sharing the latest cruising news and reports from around the world, while continuously expanding the site’s content. She is the primary point of contact for the sailors who rely on Noonsite.
A passionate sailor, Sue began cruising at a young age in the North Sea, UK, and Northern France. As an adult, she expanded her cruising adventures extensively throughout the Mediterranean, Atlantic basin, Caribbean, Eastern Seaboard of the U.S., and ultimately through the Panama Canal and across the Pacific.
Sue has lived in Spain for over 20 years, where she enjoys local cruising with her family.
Lynda Lim: Sub-Editor
Lynda’s first sailing experience came as a teenage student aboard New Zealand’s sail training vessel, Spirit of Adventure. However, it wasn’t until more than 40 years later that she truly caught the wind again, embarking on a sailing adventure through Southeast Asia on a 43ft catamaran with her husband.
In the years between, Lynda trained as a journalist and has worked across Australia and New Zealand in newspapers, magazines, website content development, and as a freelance writer. Beyond sailing, she is an avid surfer and stand-up paddleboarder, bringing a rich blend of skills and experience both on and off the water to the Noonsite team.
Megan Schwartz: Researcher / Sub-Editor
Megan is the co-owner and co-skipper of SV Zephyros, a Boreal 47 aluminum expedition monohull. She began sailing while a student at the US Naval Academy and has been cruising full-time with her family since 2017. Together, they have explored over 35 countries and territories across the UK, Europe, the Mediterranean, South America, Antarctica, the Atlantic Islands, and the Caribbean. They particularly enjoy sailing in high latitudes and less-traveled cruising areas.
Megan joined Noonsite in late 2024. Her deep knowledge of the cruising community and expertise with country entry and exit formalities make her a great addition to the team. She brings extensive experience in research, writing, and editing across a variety of fields.
