Kenitra : Profile
Kenitra lies on the Sebour River, on the Atlantic coast, between Rabat and Tangier. A modern town with an artificial harbour serving as an important naval base and commercial port.
The entrance of the Kenitra/Mediah (tidal river) channel is extremely dangerous when a strong swell is running and should NOT be attempted. The nearest all-weather port with a safe entry is in Mohamedia, about 60 miles to the south.
