  Rijeka : Profile

Location

This is a busy commercial port with several harbours but no facilities for yachts. Guadska Luka is the only place possible for a yacht to venture in. Being a large city it has a wide range of facilities and services.

Position 45°19.7'N, 14°25.4'E.

Clearance

This is a year-round Post of Entry.

The Harbour office is on the E quay near the main breakwater and the Customs office is close by.

Docking

If needing to berth here, tie up alongside the E quay in Gradska Luka or, if possible, use the north quay near the fishing boats.

A better option if wishing to visit Rijeka, is the berth at one of the marinas at Opatija and use the bus.
