Location

This long, narrow island lies between krk and the Istria peninsula. The main port is at Cres town, but there are some other, man-made ones around the island.

Position 44°57.3'N,14°24.6'E (Cres town).

Docking

Berth in the marina as directed or stern-to in the town harbour. Either to the breakwater, or, if there is room, on the eastern quay.

The anchorage to the SW of the town is good holding in 5 to 10m in mud and sand.

The harbour provides good shelter in most conditions.
