Location

Biograd is a ferry port and tourist resort approximately 20NM south of Zadar.

Position 43°56.5'N, 15°26.8'E.

Clearance

This is a Port of Entry.

Docking

A large yacht harbour, containing two marinas, has been built north of the town. To the south is a marina attached to a hotel and the town itself has a harbour.

The yacht harbour provides complete shelter. The town harbour and the hotel marina are both penetrated by some swell in NW winds.

Moor in the marinas as directed. In the old harbour, moor where space allows. The hotel marina is small and aimed at hotel guests with speedboats.

This is the more northerly of the 2 marinas in the yacht harbour. Open all year. All facilities. Shore storage for yachts up to 15m. Max depth 5m. 20 ton and 50 ton travel lifts, 10 ton crane and mast removal.

The southerly of the 2 marinas in the yacht harbour. Limited shore storage. Repair/servicing workshop with 12 ton crane.
