Clearance

Kronstadt base is on Kotlin Island and clearance is obtained at the terminal Fort Constantin. Official hours for customs and passport control are 0800-1800. One must wait on board for the officials - which may be some time. Boats that have cleared in at Vyborg may have to do a second clearance here as it is a different province. After clearance one may proceed straight to one's destination at one of the yacht clubs in St Petersburg without further clearance.
