Trois Ilets : Profile
Trois Ilets lies due south of Port-de-France on the opposite side of the bay. It is a major tourist area.
Whilst various guides say you can clear in at the fuel dock here, latest reports from cruisers are that the whole dock has now gone. Attempts to hail customs on the VHF were unsuccesful, so clearance was completed in St. Pierre instead.

The small bay off the town provides an anchorage on the western side.
The pontoon (fuel dock) at the head of the bay is now gone and just the concrete footings remain.
