A commercial harbour lying about 10nm north-west of Monastir and with little attraction for cruising yachts.

It is not a good port of refuge in strong winds from the east and SE winds above 20 knots may make it impossible to enter the port. Even in calm conditions, reflection of an easterly swell affects all moorings.
