Description:
This wide river, with the town of Puerto Santa Cruz on the west bank, forms a natural harbor. The surrounding area is the Monte León National Park which is home to Magellanic penguins, cormorants and other 20 species of seabirds. It lies about 200NM north of the Beagle Channel and is 16 kms (10 miles) from the river mouth.

Report to the Prefecture.
Docking
The river entrance can be dangerous in strong winds and the tide runs very strongly in the river. It is important to follow the channel markers up to the town.
The town has all the normal facilities.
