This is a much better anchorage than Betio for yachts. The holding here is very good, although have a good look around for any isolated bommies before dropping the anchor (there are one of two around). We sat here through 40-45 knots easterly winds and didn’t move at all. At the time we were allowed to use the parliament jetty to park our dinghy. We used google earth to get in here as the charts seemed to be nonsense.
