From SV Tuvalu: Enter this 75 mile long atoll from the north between Keela Kandu and Vashavaru. The channel is deep and free from danger but you may experience strong currents. Once inside, there are plenty of anchoring options – this anchorage is in 8m sand – good holding. There are coral heads around but you can see them with eyeball navigation. Well protected from E winds. Beware the mosquitoes in the evening.
