Wow! What a beautiful place. Very low-lying so only really good for a daytime stop (although we were here until 9pm in summer), but just stunning. Run by seagulls, so you have to like birds, but the water is an incredible colour, sandy bottom, wonderful rocks, walks around the island and swimming here is cold but exceptional. No permission needed to stop. We actually didn’t anchor in the recommended stop as it was blowing from the W/NW, and once the tide went down we saw quite a few rocks nearby (but not troubling), so take care with unmarked obstructions. Definitely a place not to be missed if visiting this Ria.
