16 September 2020 we anchored off Mikindani Yacht Club (D M.M) S 10 16.656 E 40 7.922 We dropped the anchor in about 4.5m MLWS.
There is a rustic club house with restaurant, bar and someone that can look after your tender.
The staff can call you a tuk-tuk (badjaj) or taxi or you could walk up to the road to get a dala-dala ( about 500tsh) or a bus (about 1000tsh) into Mtwara to the bus station or taxi rank. From there you can take a tuk-tuk or motorbike (boda-boda) to the port or immigration.

Mikindani Yacht Club has a great anchorage and club with restaurant and bar. Fantastic view and great atmosphere.
