Wewak - General Info
Description:
Wewak is on Papua New Guinea’s northern coast and is the capital of the East Sepik province. It is the largest town between Madang and Jayapura.
A yacht was boarded and robbed here in December 2015 by armed men with masks. The security situation is not stable. See report here.
