Boats en route to or from the Red Sea have been able to make short stops here with minimum formalities. Contact the authorities on Channel 16 who will advise where to anchor. Customs and immigration offices are in the commercial harbour near the jetty. Fuel and provisions are available.

Arrive with US cash as it appears there are no ATMs. Agent Iskander (Alexander) is reported to be helpful.
