A busy port in southern Yemen.

Boats en route to or from the Red Sea have been able to make short stops here with minimum formalities. Maximum stay is 3 days without a visa.
Customs and immigration offices are in the commercial harbour near the jetty.
Shore passes must be obtained from Immigration office by the port gate every time you leave the port.
If asked to provide a clearance certificate from your previous port, make sure you get a replacement when you leave.
Arrive with US cash as it appears there are no ATMs.

return to office each time you return to boat.

The holding is good in 7m over mud.
Beware. The dinghy landing area is where the sewage outfall emerges!
