Omoa : Profile
Located about 10NM west of Puerto Cortes, Omoa is one of the oldest towns in Honduras. It is identifiable by lage gas tanks. This town is particularly noted for its splendid old spanish fort.
The Port Captain can complete some of the process but the Immigration office in Puerto Cortes must also be visited. This is a 30 minute bus ride away.
The bay is open to the north and west.
