Neustadt in Holstein : Profile

Location

Situated about 10nm NNW across the Bay Lubeck from Travemunde, this little port is an attractive stop when cruising east along the German coast from Kiel.

Position 54°4.0'N, 10° 49.0'E.

Docking

There is a very large marina here, to port on entering the river. Follow the breakwater to the end and enter the marina into the south basin.

There also appear to be several more mooring options in the river in front of the town.

A large marina with all facilities, fuel berth, chandlery, shore storage (under cover and heated too!), 70 ton travel hoist, mast crane, engineers, riggers, sail loft. Full boatyard services. Bar and restaurant, mini-market, accomodation.
20 minute walk from the town.
Guest berths are to sta'bd on entering via the northern entrance.
