  Paphos : Profile

Location

This attractive and interesting town on the west coast of the island, is focused around the little harbour whose picturesque open-air fish restaurants line the quayside. This part of the town is known as Kato Pafos.

Clearance

Technically, this is a Port of Entry, but it may be necessary to be stamped in at Limassol or Larnica.

Docking

This is a sheltered fishing port which may have room for yachts too, but beware that the east of the leading line is very shallow. There is also a submerged breakwater projecting fron that side at the entrance.

This port is uncomfortable in strong southerlies.
