Comodoro Rivadavia : Profile

Location

A commercial port off the usual route north/south but with all tide access and useful facilities. It is the most important port in Patagonia and is located in the San Jorge Gulf inlet.

Position 45º 51’S, 67º 27’W.

Clearance

Report to the Prefectura, which is close to the yacht club.

Docking

The commercial docks are not suitable for yachts. The best anchorage is near the yacht club but it is open to the NE.

It is possible to land on the beach nearby.

The town has all the usual services.
