Nike Steiger purchased an abandoned boat in Panama sight-unseen and the adventure began. Since then, she has posted regular updates in the form of YouTube videos and blog posts of the refit of sailing vessel “Karl” and cruising the western Caribbean. She says that she knew absolutely nothing about sailing or fixing a boat, but has become an inspiring figure in the sailing community. She continues to produce videos of her adventures and is currently in the San Blas Islands.
