Between January and April, STCB conducts transect-count (snorkel) surveys along the west coast of Bonaire and around Klein Bonaire. During these surveys, they count sea turtles, keystone species and fish schools. Each survey day, they conduct four surveys of one kilometre each.
STCB is looking for volunteers who are on Bonaire during this time, are strong swimmers and enjoy snorkeling. As well as in-water surveys they need volunteers for beach clean-ups, beach keepers and their fishing line project.
