This report from CSSN – a dinghy locked with its outboard was stolen from the TOBY dinghy dock. The outboard was better secured and not taken.

SECURED: Locked

DETAILS: 

A dinghy locked overnight to the TOBY dinghy dock was stolen, its much better secured outboard (locked separately to the dock with heavy chain) was removed from the dinghy and left on the dock. A report was made to the marina/boatyard and on the VHF net. A substantial reward was offered and the dinghy recovered the next day.
