A cable-locked dingy and outboard were stolen from a boat overnight. This report by CSSN.

STOLEN ITEMS: dinghy with Yamaha 9.9 Enduro + fuel tank and snorkeling gear
SECURED: Locked

DETAILS: 

While the owner slept in the cockpit his in-the water cable locked dinghy was stolen overnight, apparently by a swimmer with a hacksaw blade or cutting tool . There had been an unsuccessful attempt to steal a chain locked dinghy about 10 days earlier.

The owner found the dinghy minus outboard, fuel tank and snorkel gear the next morning on a nearby beach. A report was made to the Coast Guard, police, marina and on the local VHF net. A reward has been offered.
