A monohull was one of 2 or 3 boats anchored in Bahia Nombre de Dios.

At 20:30 HRS five (5) young Spanish speaking men, faces covered and armed with handguns, approached in silence and entered the cabin – guns first.

The 2 persons on board were taken by surprise and were slightly injured in the early scuffle, but cooperated as the armed men ransacked for about 30 minutes and stole cash, communications devices, electronics, and personal items.

The yacht departed immediately for Linton Bay that night, where they made reports to the police, coast guard, and port captain.
