There is a new marina in Agadir Morocco providing a very good level of service and reasonable prices. The 250 slip marina, with floating pontoons, is located south of the commercial port in a basin surrounded by new condos and shopping, along with a two-minute walk to the 20 km beach.

We are the only cruisers, June 2008, in the virtually empty basin, although a few boats, both sail and power, have passed through on the way north.

Excellent provisioning nearby with fresh markets and supermarkets within walking distance. Prices are less than Europe. Repairs can be done in one of the many shops associated with the fishing harbour. Fuel and gasoline are available in the marina on its own pontoon. The staff provide excellent assistance are a great resource for local information.

Checking in and out involves a lot of paperwork. Make sure to have originals of all documents. Copies are not accepted and the boat will be held in port until originals can be provided. Boat documentation will be held by officials until departure. Passports are returned after clearing in.
