Garda warning after three boat engines are stolen in Kinsale

On February 18th, at approximately 9.30pm, a member of the public saw two men acting suspiciously in Kinsale harbour. When the men fled, a small boat was recovered with 3 outboard engines inside.

The Garda are urging boat owners to keep their boat and equipment more secure by using quality padlocks on equipment and hatches, quality chains, marking all boat equipment and taking a photograph record of valuable inventory.
