Sometime between Friday night (7/4/17) and Saturday morning (8/4/17) my dinghy & it’s outboard motor were stolen while my boat was anchored just outside the harbor of Grand Bourg, Marie Galante, Guadeloupe.

It was tied to my boat with two lines but not with locking cables (mea culpa!).  The dinghy was recovered 24 hours later, but with sufficient damage to preclude repair, but the outboard is gone.

I wanted to report this to caution other boaters.  I will, lock the motor to the dinghy & the dinghy to the yacht & maybe even lift them for the night, if possible.
