French Polynesia, Bora Bora, Vaitape: Outboard stolen – December 2018
Outboard stolen from boat while moored at the fish market in Vaitape.

My outboard got stolen from the deck of my boat (Faule Haut), while moored at the dock at the fish market, opposite the cemetery in Vaitape, during the night from 30 to 31st of Dec. 2018. It was locked at its support with a small lock. There was no security at the dock but it was brightly illuminated all night.
I was on the yacht but did not hear anything. I reported the theft to the local police.
